The “Hortitsia” rifle has been manufactured by ZBROIA since December 2014 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. It is a pre-charged pneumatic rifle (PCP). The main criteria in designing this air gun were accuracy, quality, reliability and ergonomics.
The Sporter model uses the Biathlon style target stock. It have a full length accessory rail on the underside of the fore end and a adjustable rubber butt pad.
The air gun is available in 4.5 mm /.177′ . The standard barrel and high pressure tanks are 550 mm / 230 cc The weight of the air rifle is – 3.6 kg with a length – 960 mm.
Starting from 2022 ZBROIA Company presents already the 3rd generation of this popular rifle.
The new cocking/loading system has similarities with similar Fortner-type systems used in firearms. The cocking process has become very fast and convenient. The shooter can keep his eyes on the target for a second.
The rifle comes with one of the most accurate barrels in the class. The steel barrel manufactured by ZBROIA has 12 rifling rifles inside and a very effective inbuilt sound moderator outside. Barrel is covered by a shroud with an external moderator.
ZBROIA`s high pressure tank was developed by the company’s specialists. The working pressure in the tank, which is indicated by the ZBROIA pressure gauge, is 300 bar. During the production process each tank is tested up to 495 bar! A special feature of the tank is the in-built regulator, which ensures a deviation of the firing rate within 1 %. The regulator also allows for optimum air flow. Therefore, a full tank is sufficient for more than 200 shots in 177′ calibre. The reservoir is removable and can be easily unscrewed by hand.
The Picattinny / Weaver rail is 160 mm long, it is aligned with the airgun body and allows easy mounting of any telescopic sight.
It is supplied with 6 stick-type magazines, with a capacity of 5 pellets per magazine.
Adjustable trigger is made of high-strength steel. Safety mechanism is located on the left side of the rifle body. It prevents accidental firing. The length of the first stage and the weight of the second stage trigger can be adjusted. To adjust the trigger, the gun must be removed from the stock.
Many of the fittings used in the gun come from leading European manufacturers. The best springs and O-rings come from Germany, so we use them!
The filling port is conveniently located under the gauge cover.
The rifle comes with two filling adapters (made of brass) for filling the tank with an air cylinder or pump: a threaded one and a quick release for quick disconnection.
